Dear Parents,
We are excited to welcome you and your child to a new academic year filled with engaging learning experiences in the new academic year 2026-27. Our goal is to provide a supportive environment where every child can thrive. As Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam said, “The purpose of education is to make good human beings with skill and expertise... Enlightened human beings can be created by teachers.”
Here’s a glimpse of what we have planned for the year ahead:
Curriculum Overview:
Our well-structured curriculum is designed to foster intellectual, social, and emotional development. We emphasize a balanced approach that integrates academics with creative and interactive learning experiences. Subjects will be taught using engaging methods that encourage critical thinking and curiosity. The theme being covered in April and May is “Me and My World of Love and Care and A Peek into My Home ”. We have included Social and Emotional Development and Habit formation as a part of the academics starting from this academic year.
Awareness About Continents:
To broaden global awareness, we will introduce children to the continents of the world, focusing on one major country within the continent being covered. This initiative will help develop a sense of appreciation for diversity and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Storytelling & Reading Focus:
Storytelling and reading are essential to language development. We will encourage students to engage with books through read-aloud sessions and storytelling activities. Our goal is to nurture a lifelong love for reading and enhance vocabulary, comprehension, and imagination.
Critical Thinking:
In order to inculcate the ability to analyze information, evaluate different perspectives, and make logical decisions, we will be introducing Critical Thinking Statements every month. The objective of this exercise is to get children to ask questions, think about options and choices. We would want the child to think beyond books as this would help them get a different perspective about things.
Introduction to Science Experiments:
To spark curiosity and a scientific mindset, we will introduce simple, fun, and safe science experiments. These activities will allow children to observe, question, and explore the wonders of science through hands-on experiences.
Emotional Well-Being:
Your child’s emotional well-being is a top priority. We will incorporate activities that promote mindfulness, empathy, and self-expression, ensuring that children feel heard, valued, and emotionally secure in their learning environment.
Support for Special Learning Needs:
We believe in inclusive education and are committed to providing complete support to children with special learning requirements. Our teachers and specialists will work closely with students and parents to ensure that every child receives personalized guidance and resources for their growth and success.
In our commitment to providing the best for our students, we seek your support and understanding. Each child is unique, and we urge you not to compare their performance with that of others, but rather appreciate and celebrate their individuality.
Your support and involvement play a vital role in your child’s learning experience. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us at feedback@mothersmountschool.com. We will respond to your query or concern within 48 hours.
We thank you for showing continued confidence in us and look forward to partnering with you throughout this academic journey. Let’s make this year a memorable and enriching one for our children!
Best regards,
Team Mothers’ Mount
