Dear Parents,

At Mothers’ Mount schools we completely believe in this statement and hence our teachers are always focused on not just imbibing values in the little ones but also in helping them learn different skills, e.g. to create, to think, to communicate, to make decisions etc. . This gives them confidence and courage to perform to the best of their abilities.
The month of July is already over… Children had a great time at school, amidst so many fun activities and celebrations of special days, such as Paper Bag day, International Tiger day, Visitor’s day and so on. Children were also guided to understand the difference between a good touch and a bad touch.
In the month of August, we will be focusing on “Nature’s Garden- Fruits, Vegetables, Flowers.” You are kindly requested to regularly revise the concepts taught in school with your child. Encourage them to accompany you when buying fruits, vegetables and flowers. Allow them to pick one or two fruits, vegetables or flowers of their choice and ask them to name what they have chosen. This will not only reinforce their knowledge but also help build their confidence in communication and decision-making.
We will be celebrating Friendship Day, Independence day and Raksha Bandhan during this month. We will also be celebrating a Monsoon week, to help the children understand the Monsoon season through activities. There are numerous other activities that have been planned during the month of August. Please ensure that the child is regular to school so that they don't miss out on all the fun and learning.
