At Mothers’ Mount schools we not only believe in this statement by our very own Bapu, but also follow it completely. We regularly undertake the acts of selfless service in order to teach by example. Even small deeds can make a big impact.
In the month of October, on the occasion of World Food Day, we will be educating children on the importance of eating healthy and not wasting food. They will also be encouraged to feed at least 1 child of the less-privileged section with the help of their parents. On the occasion of World Animal Welfare day, the children will be told about the importance of protecting the animals. Some of the key values that we teach the children are humility and respect for others. Conducting such activities on a regular basis can drive the message of selfless service to the little ones. Please continue to conduct such selfless deeds even at home.
The month of September was full of excitement for the children. They celebrated Teachers’ Day, The International Day of Peace, International Sudoku Day and Janmashtami, besides many other celebrations. The excursion to the National Zoological Park was the highlight of the month. The month of October also brings along numerous fun-filled activities for the children. We will celebrate Navratri and Dussehra as well as the international festival, Halloween with the students.
We will be reinforcing the continents done previously with the students. There will be Montessori and Science activities as well.
